The Autism Connection Virtual Conference is back on December 3rd, 2022, for its 2nd year!

The Autism Connection is a live, full-day virtual event sharing best practices for teachers and clinicians supporting learners with autism.  I am so excited to let you know that we are opening up 20% off Early Bird pricing until November 20th!

This live Continuing Education Units (CEU) event is designed to provide actionable steps for special education teachers, Speech Language Pathologists, and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to better support learners with autism. Who is this conference for?

  • This conference was created for general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, clinicians, and parents who are looking to learn more about multidisciplinary best practices and evidenced-based strategies.

How Do I Access this Conference?

  • This is a live virtual conference through Zoom Events. The event link will be emailed after registration. The event will also be recorded and linked in an email for viewing after the event. You will receive the recorded sessions on 12/6. Participants may earn CEUs for live or recorded sessions. Participants may watch some sessions live and some recorded.

Can I earn continuing education credits for this conference?

  • The Autism Connection will offer ASHA CEUS, ACE CE, and general certificates of completion. In order for participants to earn credit, they must watch the entire session. CEUs will be given separately for each session. At the end of each session, a link will be shared to request CEUs. Participants will fill out the evaluation and will be issued a certificate. Participants are encouraged to fill out the evaluation on the date of the event but will have until December 31st to do so. The link will also be emailed to participants.  
  • Teachers- You can earn 5 continuing education hours upon completion of this course. School districts differ in what they will accept as a continuing education credit. It is up to each course participant to confirm that continuing education credits from this course will be approved by your school district.
  • BCBAs- You can earn 5 CEUs for this course upon completion. ABA SPEECH, is an Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) provider from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. This course provides Type 2 continuing education credits. 
  • SLPs- This course is eligible for 0.5 ASHA CEUs upon completion. ASHA CE Registry Submission: Once you fill out the form indicating that you would like your participation reported to ASHA, ABA SPEECH will prepare to submit your information to the ASHA CE Registry. ABA SPEECH submits this completion information monthly [on the 15th of the month]. Please allow three weeks from the submission date by ABA SPEECH for the event and ASHA CEUs to appear on your ASHA transcript. ASHA CE Provider approval and use of the Brand Block does not imply endorsement of content, specific products or clinical procedures.

I can’t make it live, can I still attend the conference?

  • Yes! The entire conference will be recorded, and you can earn CEUs for watching the recorded sessions. recordings will be sent 3 days after the live event. Recorded sessions will be available until December 31st.

How Can I Request Accommodations?

How Do I Cancel? Do You Offer Refunds?

  • All cancellations and refunds are through Zoom Events. Refunds are available for up to one hour before the event begins.
