This is a LIVE webinar taking place on September 12th from 8-9pm eastern. This is an ASHA-approved course. 

Description: In this course participants will learn about the importance of joint attention. Participants will learn about many specific actionable strategies that they can use to embed work on joint attention in their therapy sessions.

Presented By: Rosemarie Griffin MA CCC-SLP, BCBA

Rosemarie Griffin, MA, CCC/SLP BCBA, is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Product Developer and Host of The Autism Outreach Podcast.   • Participants will be able to discuss the importance of joint attention when providing intervention for autistic learners. 
  • Participants will be able to list 3 strategies for incorporating work on joint attention during therapy sessions. 
  • Participants will be able to state how to write functional goals for targeting joint attention during therapy sessions.

Course Agenda

0- 10 minutes: Introduction

10-20 minutes: Research-Based Reasons To Focus On Joint Attention 

20-45 minutes: Strategies For Working On Joint Attention During Therapy Sessions 

45-55 minutes: Goal Setting For Joint Attention 

55-60 minutes: Key Point Review and Questions

To complete the course, attend the webinar live, fill out the evaluation form (it is available when you go to my orders and click on the course). When you have completed these requirements a certificate will be sent to your email. This should be completed by September 19, 2023.
