Description: This talk will discuss the ethical standards related to collaboration. In addition, the individual and overlapping scopes of practice and competence will be discussed. We will end our talk with real-world strategies that can be implemented now to support our collaborative efforts.

Rosemarie Griffin, MA, CCC/SLP BCBA, is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Product Developer and Host of The Autism Outreach Podcast. 2. Participants will be able to state individual and overlapping scopes of practice and competence between SLPs and BCBAs.
3. Participants will be able to define 5 strategies to help with the development of collaborative services.

Course Agenda

0-5 minutes: Introduction
5-15 minutes: SLP and BCBA ethics standards related to collaboration
15-30 minutes: Individual and overlapping scopes of practice and competence

30-60 Strategies That Can Be Used To Develop Collaborative Services

Login and logout times will be recorded and documented. To complete the course, view the webinar, take the quiz. When you complete all sections of the course, a form will populate asking if you would like your participation reported to ASHA. Fill this form out with the required information and your participation will be reported to ASHA. We report to ASHA once a month and it typically takes 45-60 days for a course to show up on your registry. 

When you have completed these requirements a certificate will be available in your profile.
