Amanda Shea, BCBA, is the Clinical Director of the Social Emotional Learning program at Insight Academy. Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from Cleveland State in 2011 and completed coursework through the Florida Institute of Technology to sit for the BCaBA exam in 2017. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University and became certified as a BCBA in 2021. Amanda has worked with clients and their support networks in several clinical, classroom, and community settings over the last 10+ years. Some of her current responsibilities at Insight include: overseeing and supporting the implementation of the AIM Curriculum and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) across the SEL program, overseeing student behavior assessment, intervention and transitions to additional environments, and supervising classroom BCBAs, BCBA candidates and support staff in their SEL journey.
