This is a self-paced course. It is ASHA approved for CEUs.

Description: As classrooms become more inclusive, educators are being asked to support more communication styles than ever, and most teams haven’t been
shown what AAC can actually look like in a real classroom. This training is hands-on, practical, and designed to make AAC feel natural across the entire school day. You’ll learn how to build AAC into circle time, routines, social-emotional learning, and everyday instruction using ready-to-use visuals, engaging activities, and classroom examples that actually match what teachers are navigating.

Janna Bedoyan, M.Ed., NBCT and AAC Specialist  I believe each and every child has the potential to contribute something unique and special to the world.  Students with Autism hold a distinct place in my heart.  I believe that intensive early intervention is critical for young children with Autism.  I have a positive presence, I deliver patience, passion, and persistence at this crucial time in a family’s life.  I help children with Autism to develop to their greatest potential by believing in them as capable individuals.  My purpose is to make the community, parents, and peers aware of their unique individual gifts as well as their needs.  In doing so, I empower my students to accomplish goals previously perceived as unattainable by their family and community.  I have a vision of a world where people learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between us – this is the core of what makes life so amazing to me
