This course will help SLPs identify the reasons behind students’ problem behaviors. It will also discuss strategies to use during therapy sessions when these behaviors are barriers to learning and engagement.

Course Agenda

0- 10 minutes Introduction

10-30 minutes Why Problem Behavior May Occur and What is an FBA

30-45 minutes Strategies to use during therapy to increase learner engagement and decrease problem behavior 

45-60  minutes Case Study

To complete the course, view the webinar, complete the quiz. For ASHA CEUs fill out the ASHA form. You will click the button that says Claim My CEU. Your ASHA form will be here for you. Fill out all of the required information so that we can report your participation to ASHA.
