Description: In this webinar the NDBI model will be outlined, assessment and teaching procedures will also be discussed.

Presented By: Ariana Boutain PhD, BCBA-D

Ariana is the Vice President of Clinical Services with KGH. Dr. Ariana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2006, Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas in 2012, and Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2014. Ariana is a Doctoral-Level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been working with children with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related disorders since 2006. Ariana has presented at regional and national conferences on topics including the effectiveness of different prompting procedures on skill acquisition and the use of telehealth technology within parent training programs. Ariana has published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and the Behavior Analyst and has served as a
reviewer for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. Ariana has been a member of the Association for Behavioral Analysis International, the Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis, the Wisconsin Association of Behavior Analysis, and the Kansas Association for Behavior Analysis. In her spare time, Ariana enjoys performing in musical theater productions, cycling, and going on exciting adventures with her husband
and twins.

Learning Objectives

● Participants will be able to define Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI)
● Participants will be able to list 3 strategies included in the NDBI Assessment Model
● Participants will be able to state 2 techniques to include in a NDBI/Play-Based ABA Therapy Model

Time Ordered Agenda:
0-5 minutes: Introduction
5-15 minutes: What is NDBI?
15-20 minutes: NDBI Assessment Procedures
20-30 minutes: NDBI ABA Therapy Model
30-50 minutes: Using NDBI Teaching strategies with Young Children
50-60 minutes: Wrap-up and Questions

To complete the course, attend the webinar live, take the survey (link provided when you purchase this product and included in a follow-up email). To earn ASHA CEUs you must complete the survey by February 5, 2023.
