Description: In this course participants will learn how to help autistic toddlers and preschool-aged students start communicating. The topics of assessment, goal development, parent training and data collection will be addressed. A majority of the course is dedicated to early learner foundational skills and how to address these skills in therapy. Joint attention, among other skills are discussed at length.

Rosemarie Griffin, MA, CCC/SLP BCBA, is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Product Developer and Host of The Autism Outreach Podcast. She divides her time between a public school and her own private practice. She is passionate about helping individuals with autism find their voice and become more independent communicators. - Participants will be able to discuss how to use behavioral skills training for parent and team training.
- Participants will be able to define continuous and discontinuous data collection.
