As founder of the Global Schoolhouse Project, Leila partners with the International Healthcare Network on Closing the Digital Divide, a project bringing digital devices into schools in Johannesburg, South Africa. It’s not just about providing tech. She works directly with teachers and students to train them in effective use while identifying the barriers and gaps that limit access.

Through her BCBA work, Leila also developed a range of lessons, curriculum, and tools. To share these more broadly, she created ABA Toolbox, a per-learner platform that automates and scales her resources across clinics. It supports her own practice and others in the district, all with a multidisciplinary, child-centered approach.

Holding a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Columbia University’s Teachers College, along with credentials as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Certified Special Educator, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership in transforming special education practices. Her early career success was marked by her autism program being recognized among New Jersey’s top three by the State Board of Education, setting the stage for her future innovations in the field. A successful founder and executive leader, Farshchian has established and scaled multiple educational organizations. She established Learner Compass to provide specialized services for children with autism and created ABA Toolbox, a comprehensive practice management platform that is revolutionizing how therapeutic services are delivered across schools, agencies, and universities. Her influence extends beyond direct service provision through her roles as co-founder of Farshchian Art, president of the Farshchian Art Foundation, and founder of the Global SchoolHouse Project. Farshchian’s commitment to global education initiatives is evident through her role as founder of the Global School House Project and her board position with the International Health Awareness Network, where she contributes to educational programs that impact communities worldwide.
