RBTs and Parent Support: Communication, Compassion, and Clear Roles is a practical, skill-focused training designed to help Registered Behavior Technicians strengthen their professional interactions with caregivers. RBTs often serve as the most frequent point of contact for families, making their communication style, boundaries, and professionalism essential to high-quality care. This session introduces foundational concepts of empathy, compassion, and ethical role clarity in parent support. Participants will learn how to communicate respectfully and professionally, recognize common boundary challenges, and use simple tools to keep caregiver conversations focused and appropriate. Through real-life examples, interactive activities, and guided discussion, RBTs will leave with concrete strategies they can apply immediately in their daily work with families.
